MQB 2.0 TDI EA288 Intake System

The RacingLine Intake System is a race-bred cold air intake system featuring a high-flowing, zero maintenance cotton filter, designed specifically for MQB platform vehicles equipped with the 2.0 TDI EA288 engine. Developed from extensive factory motorsport experience, this intake system combines OEM-standards of design and quality with the potential for significant power gains, particularly on vehicles with existing performance upgrades. The core of this system is RacingLine's Pleated-Cotton Filter, which requires no maintenance, offering a true 'fit and forget' filtration solution for users who prefer not to engage in the cleaning and re-oiling schedule associated with Trifoam filters. The system is meticulously developed using F1-standard CFD programmes, focusing on large airbox volume and maximized filter surface area to ensure superior airflow capabilities. This design supports increased power outputs without causing restrictions, delivering as much as 9% higher airflow at peak power compared to the original intake system. Furthermore, the enhanced efficiency can reduce turbo spool by up to 500rpm, guaranteeing lightning-fast turbo response. Drivers will also experience a richer induction noise, enhancing the TDI soundtrack during hard acceleration, though the fully-enclosed design helps contain volume levels.
