MQB EA888 Gen3 2.0T Oil Catch Tank & Management System

The VWR RacingLine VWR13G700 is an advanced oil catch tank and oil management system specifically engineered for MQB EA888 Gen3 2.0T engine vehicles. This system directly addresses the issue of oil pooling in the front of the engine under excessive braking G-forces, a known problem that can lead to smoke clouds and critical oil starvation, particularly during track use. The design, shared with Volkswagen Motorsport, Audi Sport, and Cupra for their TCR race cars, includes a baffled PCV block that forces oil back to the sump, mitigating oil starvation. It also keeps intercooler and inlet tracts clear of oil buildup, ensuring cleaner airflow. The kit is a direct PCV replacement, ensuring easy installation with precision-machined components utilizing 5-axis CNC technology. It features 210 series braided hoses with an outer nylon braid and stainless steel inner weave for resilience. The catch tank itself has internal divisions for effective moisture and oil separation, a removable baffle plate for maintenance, and a drain plug at the base for easy fluid disposal. The unit mounts to the side of the engine mount using original chassis bolts for a clean, OE appearance. Confirmed applications include a wide range of VW Golf, Passat, Arteon, T-Roc, Tiguan, and Jetta models, as well as Audi A3, S3, and TT models, all primarily from 2013 onwards with the 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen3 engine. However, for the 2019 Golf GTI, a specific Volkswagen part (5Q0133366K) is required due to an obstructing evaporation canister. Additionally, Golf 7R and some early Audi S3 8V models may require the separate Remote Washer Refill Kit due to a different windscreen washer bottle fitment that conflicts with the catch can's mounting location. This product is not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle, as per the California Air Resources Board.
