MQB Front Subframe Locking Collar Kit

The 034 Motorsport MQB Front Subframe Locking Collar Kit is engineered to eliminate subframe shifting and precisely locate the front subframe on 8V/8V.5 Audi A3/S3/RS3 and 8S Audi TT/TTS/TTRS models. It offers a permanent and affordable solution to a fundamental design issue with the factory subframe. Constructed from CNC-machined stainless steel, this kit includes 8 application-specific locking collars (4 upper and 4 lower) along with 4 new factory replacement subframe bolts. The collars are precision-machined to perfectly locate the subframe and bolts, ensuring a hassle-free installation. Unlike kits using softer alloys, the stainless steel construction prevents deformation and ensures a lifetime of performance. The design aims to prevent subframe knocking noise without causing additional noise, vibration, or harshness (NVH) transfer into the cabin, with NVH levels rated as None to Low based on user feedback. Installation is straightforward and can be completed in approximately one hour, with no permanent modifications to the subframe required, making the upgrade completely reversible. The kit enhances chassis rigidity and handling performance by properly centering the factory front subframe.
