The ARM MK7 GTI/GOLF R Intake Kit is engineered to enhance airflow in 2.0T engines by eliminating restrictive stock components. This upgrade facilitates increased power and torque output throughout the RPM range, with a particular advantage at higher RPMs. The ARM intake is especially well-suited for tuned engines utilizing IS20, IS38, or hybrid/upgraded turbochargers. Constructed as a single piece of 6-layer reinforced silicone, the intake tube features a substantial 4-inch inlet at the air filter to maximize flow. This design provides a seamless transition to either the stock turbo inlet or the ARM MK7 Turbo Inlet. The air filter boasts an inverted design with a 5.5-inch base, offering over 300 cubic inches of filter surface area for optimal air filtration. Additionally, the kit includes an integrated SAI Filter for the secondary air intake. Installation of the ARM MK7 Intake is straightforward, with an estimated 45-minute completion time, and significantly enhances the auditory experience of your turbo. Owners can expect to hear a more pronounced turbo spool during acceleration and a distinct air venting sound upon throttle release. The kit includes the ARM Dry Air Filter, Reinforced Inlet Tube, Textured Black Heat Shield, SAI Filter, and all necessary mounting hardware.
