This kit maintains oil temperatures at a consistent 221*F (105*C).

The iABED Industries MQB Oil Cooler kit is engineered to combat the notorious oil cooling issues found in EA888 line engines. The factory heat exchanger often fails to keep oil temperatures below 240*F (115*C), especially under demanding conditions like track use or high ambient temperatures, potentially leading to oil temperatures exceeding 275*F and causing concern for engine longevity. This kit provides a robust solution, maintaining oil temperatures around 221*F (105*C), with the option to target 90*C if specified. It is constructed using premium components, including Mocal/Setrab oil cooler cores, XRP braided nylon hoses and fittings for a lightweight and durable assembly, and precisely machined parts made from Canadian T6061 aluminum. The kit includes an iABED T6061 billet oil filter housing adapter plate, a Mocal inline thermostat, and all necessary XRP braided hoses and fittings for installation. The components feature a black and silver finish. Fitment includes a range of MQB platform vehicles with the EA888.3 2.0T engine, such as the Volkswagen Golf VII, Golf VII Facelift, GTI, R, Jetta GLI, Audi 8V A3, S3, TT, TTS, and the 5NA Tiguan.
