Description

This adapter offers a direct fit for OEM part code 5Q0129635L and is compatible with both left-hand drive (LHD) and right-hand drive (RHD) vehicles across various MQB platforms. The all-aluminium construction, combined with CNC machined couplers, ensures a precision fit and a larger, smoother transition for increased airflow into the turbocharger. This results in an improved sound and a performance increase of up to 8 BHP and 16 ft/lbs of torque. The adaptor features a durable black hardwearing powdercoated finish. However, it is important to note that this adaptor does *not* fit the standard flexible plastic hose and requires an aftermarket silicone induction hose. The O-ring seal design prevents leaks and keeps debris out of the turbo internals. This turbo inlet adaptor is compatible with a wide range of MQB platform vehicles, including specific Audi, Cupra, Seat, Skoda, and Volkswagen models with 1.8 TSI, 2.0 TSI, or 2.0 GLI engines, typically from model years 2012 onwards. Please consult the detailed compatibility list for exact fitment. It is crucial to verify compatibility as this part is *not* compatible with certain models, such as the 2021 onwards Cupra Leon or the Audi S1.
