The MercRacing MR2300 TVS Supercharger Kit is an advanced forced induction solution engineered for Honda and Acura K20 and K24 engine platforms. This comprehensive kit features an integrated air-to-water aftercooler system, a 3.5-inch billet pulley, and a CNC-machined inlet that accommodates stock up to 74mm throttle bodies. It provides significant power and efficiency improvements over smaller 1900 and 1320-series supercharger units. Installation requires specific component modifications to ensure proper clearance and thermal management. For many applications, including the 8th Gen Civic, users must replace the thermostat housing with a downward-pointing version (Acura RSX Type S part #19320-PNA-003 and thermostat #19301-PNA-003). Additionally, spark plugs must be upgraded to range 8, or range 9 for boost levels exceeding 15 psi. Due to the high power output of this system, a built transmission is required, and a built engine is strongly recommended for reliable operation. This kit is compatible with a wide range of K-series applications, including the 8th and 9th Gen Civic Si, Acura TSX, and K-swapped chassis like the Lotus Elise, Exige, and EG hatch. Note that 9th Gen Civic owners may require additional harness extensions for the throttle body.
