The Motordyne MREV 2 is a lower manifold upgrade designed for VQ35DE engines. By machining the lower collector intake runners, it allows for increased flow without altering the plenum's internal volume. This modification is intended to enhance performance and maximize both torque and horsepower.

This part is an upgrade to the original MREV package. It is compatible with both rev-up and non-rev-up VQ35DE engines. The product is noted as being discontinued by the manufacturer.

The Motordyne MREV2 is a specialized lower manifold upgrade designed for the Nissan VQ35DE engine platform. By precisely machining the lower collector intake runners, this component improves airflow in critical areas without significantly altering the engine's internal plenum volume. This design allows for substantial performance improvements in both torque and horsepower, making it a highly effective naturally aspirated bolt-on upgrade. For optimal results, particularly when installed on the "RevUp" engine variant, it is recommended to use the MREV2 in conjunction with a 5/16-inch plenum spacer. Independent testing indicates this combination can yield significant gains in the upper midrange, with some tests showing increases exceeding 20 HP and 30 lb-ft of torque in the midrange and a 3-5 HP increase in peak high-RPM power. Please note that for some applications, a custom tune may be required to fully realize these performance benefits. Compatibility includes VQ35DE-equipped vehicles, such as the 2003-2007 Infiniti G35 Coupe, 2003-2006 Infiniti G35 Sedan, and various Nissan 350Z models. Please be aware of regional regulations, as this product may be subject to strict emissions compliance requirements in certain areas.
