The Dobinsons MRR MRA59-A649 is a 3-way adjustable monotube reservoir shock absorber engineered to deliver unparalleled adjustability for achieving the perfect ride quality. This shock features a robust construction, including a 50mm CNC machined high-flow billet aluminum race piston and a 3mm thick heavy-duty DOM seamless 56mm O.D. shock body that is precision honed. The remote reservoir is crafted from a full 60mm 6063 aluminum, providing ample fluid capacity and heat dissipation. Fine-tuning your suspension is made simple with independent adjustments for compression and rebound. It offers 10 stages of high-speed compression control, ideal for navigating ruts and high-speed off-road conditions. For lower speed maneuvers like crawling and cornering, 20 stages of low-speed compression are available. The 15 stages of rebound adjustment allow precise control over coil movement and prevent unwanted bucking. Durability and performance are paramount in the design of the MRA59-A649. It incorporates a 5140 HV900 hard chrome-plated, heat-treated 18mm micro-polished high-strength shock shaft with a minimum tensile strength exceeding 700MPA. The sealing system is upgraded to a 3-stage FKM/HNBR configuration, and Parker braided high-pressure hoses ensure reliable fluid transfer. A T6 6061 aluminum spring seat allows for height adjustability, while a carbon-fibre/PTFE/disulphide composite wear band ensures low-friction, low-wear performance. The design is fully rebuildable and features EDP surface protection for longevity.
