MRR 3-Way Adjustable Rear Monotube Reservoir Shocks Pair

The Dobinsons MRR 3-way Adjustable Rear Shocks (MRA51-A116) are engineered for superior performance and adjustability in demanding off-road conditions. Designed, developed, and tested in Australia, these shocks are built to withstand extreme environments, from the Australian outback to harsh Russian winters. They provide a significant upgrade over original equipment, addressing shock fade and the inability of stock shocks to cope with added weight or harsh terrain. By incorporating larger bodies, larger bores, and increased valving performance, these MRR shocks dramatically improve vehicle handling, control, and reduce shock fade. Key components include a 50mm CNC-machined high-flow billet aluminum race piston, a 3mm thick heavy-duty DOM seamless 56mm O.D. shock body precisely honed to +/- 0.04mm, and an upgraded 3-stage FKM-HNBR sealing system. The 18mm micro-polished shock shaft is 5140 HV900 hard chrome plated and heat-treated, exceeding 700MPA tensile strength. Precision is maintained through TSUGAMITM CNC-machined components and CNC TIG precision-welded body end mounts. The shocks also feature a 60mm full 6063 aluminum remote reservoir, a lightweight CNC-machined low-friction floating piston, and a carbon-fiber/PTFE/disulphide composite wear band for reduced friction and wear. The design is fully rebuildable. This specific model is designed to provide a 3-4 inch lift and is a direct bolt-on application for the following vehicles: 1987-1998 Nissan Patrol, 1987-1998 Nissan Safari, and 1999+ Toyota Landcruiser.
