MS3 Gold Box Engine Management System

The Megasquirt MS3 Gold Box is a powerful, feature-packed universal engine management system for the budget-minded enthusiast. It offers advanced control capabilities for street, race, and show cars, enabling users to harness its potential for applications where custom harnesses are not typically offered. This system supports multiple communication protocols including USB, RS232, and CAN, and comes with an 8-foot flying lead harness. It features onboard SD card data logging and is compatible with Tuner Studio tuning software. The MS3 Gold Box supports self-tuning and various tuning methods such as VE-based, Speed Density, Alpha-N, and MAF-based, with individual cylinder fuel and spark trim tables for precise adjustments. Key features include 10 high-impedance injector drivers, 10 logic-level ignition outputs, and dedicated outputs for fuel pump, fan, and idle air control (both stepper and PWM). It also offers advanced features like 2 channels of nitrous control (staged or progressive), variable valve timing for up to 4 VVT camshafts, and support for over 50 OEM and aftermarket ignition systems. Additional capabilities include a 12-volt tach output, 3-step rev limiter, trans brake and stage control, multiple traction control strategies, 2 wide-band oxygen sensor inputs, and 2 knock sensor inputs. Further enhancing its versatility, the MS3 Gold Box is flex fuel sensor compatible, offers boost control, water/methanol injection control, a data log switch, dual table switch, 3 general purpose inputs, and 1 additional analog input. It can also link to MS-based transmission control via CAN and is RacePak compatible. The unit includes an onboard barometric pressure sensor and a real-time clock.
