The MS3Pro EVO+ by AMP|EFI represents the latest in next-generation engine management, delivering a powerful suite of tuning and control features for high-performance applications. Built on the proven MS3Pro platform, the EVO+ is equipped with three AMPSEAL automotive connectors, totaling 92 pins (31 Inputs and 33 Outputs), an onboard 4-bar MAP Sensor, barometric pressure sensor, and 5 diagnostic LEDs for enhanced monitoring.
Whether fine-tuning a racing engine or configuring a custom build, the MS3Pro EVO+ combines intuitive TunerStudio Software, self-learning fuel tables, and user-configurable controls to provide a streamlined yet powerful tuning experience. The EVO+ model is optimized for use with external ignition modules or “smart coils” equipped with built-in igniters, such as IGN1A Smart Coils, providing a logic-level 0-5V signal for precise control without generating high heat. This setup is ideal for applications where the coils or ignition components include an integrated ignition driver (e.g., GM LS, Toyota 1ZZ, VAG COP).
Key features include support for up to 12-cylinder engines with sequential fuel injection or 4-rotor Wankel engines, broad ignition compatibility (over 50 modes), VVT control for up to 4 camshafts, and enhanced tuning options supporting VE-based, Speed Density, Alpha-N, MAF, and ITB modes. The unit also features self-learning fuel strategy, onboard data logging of up to 64 channels at 330Hz, and specialized functions such as multi-strategy boost control, traction control, launch/trans brake/bump box control, nitrous control, three-step rev limiters, and flex fuel support. Safety features include engine protection, dual DSP-based knock detection, RPM limit vs temperature, low oil pressure shut down, and fuel pressure compensation.
Connectivity and expandability are supported via CAN, allowing connection to Digital Dashes and Transmission Controllers. Firmware upgrades are available with no hidden charges. Note that the AXM-110 module is not compatible with CDI systems, and certain modifications may not be compatible with VR sensors.
