MS3Pro EVO Standalone Engine Management System

The MegaSquirt MS3Pro EVO is an advanced standalone engine management system offering extensive tuning capabilities for enthusiasts and professionals alike. It supports various tuning strategies such as VE-based, Speed Density, Alpha-N, and MAF-based tuning, incorporating blended algorithms for optimized performance. This system boasts up to 12 sequential saturated fuel injector outputs and sequential support for up to 12 cylinders. Unused injector outputs can be repurposed as high-current digital or PWM outputs. It also provides up to 8 sequential logic-level ignition outputs and features user-friendly 2D or 3D table views, allowing tuners to switch between them with a single click. Individual cylinder fuel and spark trim tables, along with table switching, offer granular control over engine parameters. VVT control is managed through 4 channels, and the generic wheel decoder supports nearly any trigger pattern, including common ones like 60-2, 36-1, and 8-1, enabling compatibility with over 50 specialty OEM and aftermarket ignition systems. The MS3Pro EVO is capable of controlling oddfire, evenfire, piston, rotary, and even radial engines, and includes a Fuel Only Mode that disables ignition output features for fuel injection control only. Further enhancing its functionality, the MS3Pro EVO includes internal high-speed data logging via an SD card, multiple traction control strategies, E85 flex fuel sensor input, and compatibility with wideband O2 controllers. It features OE-style automatic fuel trim for long-term engine adjustments, high-power time enrichment to manage cylinder temperatures, and multiple acceleration enrichment strategies. Advanced features extend to staged injection control for high-power applications, nitrous control, three-step rev limiters with flat shifting, trans brake and bump box control, advanced launch control strategies with configurable timing retard, pit lane limiters, rally-style turbo anti-lag with rotational idle, and multiple boost control strategies. The system also supports sequential shift spark cut, automatic shift point modes, various idle control strategies, water and methanol injection, fuel pump control, and intelligent knock detection with multiple engine protection modes. It offers generous spare I/O for custom needs, including analog inputs for external sensors, and supports air conditioner control with feed-forward idle-up and automatic cooling fan activation. Alternator field control and voltage regulation are managed through multiple strategies, with configurable monitoring and warning lamp outputs. Comprehensive test modes allow for pre-engine start verification of all outputs, and CAN support enables I/O expansion and 3rd party dash device integration. The unit is Android compatible, features self-calibration, and a compact, robust design with redundant ground wiring and dual external 5V ref supplies. Firmware is field-upgradeable, allowing for easy feature updates.
