It also supports most aftermarket wideband sensors for accurate air-fuel ratio monitoring. This engine management system provides comprehensive tunability with 16x16 fuel and ignition tables for precise control, multiple acceleration enrichment strategies, closed-loop idle speed control, and air conditioner load management. It supports four sequential fuel injector channels and can utilize OEM wasted spark ignition or be converted to sequential coil-on-plug systems. The unit features onboard high-impedance injector drivers and allows for the removal of the stock airflow meter, offering greater tuning flexibility. Advanced features include 12x12 air-fuel ratio target tables, VVT support for later motor swaps, and programmable voltage regulator control for NB alternator swaps. It also offers multiple traction control strategies, a built-in 3-step rev limiter/launch control, real-time barometric correction, and an internal 4-bar MAP sensor capable of reading up to 44 PSI of boost. Additional capabilities include overboost protection, closed-loop boost control (requires EBC solenoid kit), rally-style anti-lag, water injection control, knock sensor input, table switching for on-the-fly map changes, flex fuel sensor input, and a CANBus connector for integration with other MegaSquirt-compatible devices. It is compatible with the 1990-1993 Mazda 'NA6' Miata 1.6L [B6ZE] (Manual Transmission) and 1994-1997 JDM & EUR Mazda 'NA' MX-5 1.6L [B6ZE] (Manual Transmission).
