MS3Pro PnP ECU

The MegaSquirt MS3Pro PnP ECU is a standalone engine management system designed for the 1994-1995 Mazda MX-5 Miata with a manual transmission. This system takes plug-and-play engine management to the next level, offering an easy-to-use and install solution for optimizing your vehicle's performance. Installation is fully plug-and-play, meaning no wiring is necessary for basic functionality. The ECU comes with a pre-loaded base map to help your engine start on the first turn of the key. For advanced users, it provides real-time tuning capabilities and 8 GB of internal data logging accessible via a laptop connection. It supports most aftermarket wideband sensors. Key features include 16x16 fuel and ignition tables for high-resolution tuning, multiple acceleration enrichment strategies, and closed-loop idle speed control. It supports 4 sequential fuel injector channels with individual trim tables and includes onboard peak and hold drivers that accommodate both high and low impedance injectors, eliminating the need for an external ballast resistor. The system allows for the removal of the stock airflow meter and offers 12x12 Air Fuel Ratio target tables for precise tuning with a wideband O2 sensor. Additional capabilities include VVT support for later VVT motor swaps, programmable voltage regulator control for NB alternator swaps, multiple traction control strategies, and a built-in 3-step rev limiter/launch control with flat shift and burnout rev limiter. It also features real-time barometric correction and an internal 4-bar MAP sensor capable of reading up to 44 PSI of boost. Overboost protection, closed-loop boost control (requiring an EBC solenoid kit), rally-style anti-lag, and water injection control are also included. A knock sensor input with adjustable sensitivity and table switching input for on-the-fly map changes are also standard. The system is also equipped with an input for a flex fuel sensor and a CANBus connector for integrating other MegaSquirt-compatible devices.
