The MSD 31193 spark plug wire set is a high-performance 8.5mm universal ignition solution for 8-cylinder engines. These wires feature the signature Super Conductor design, utilizing a low-resistance copper core to maximize spark delivery. Because every engine bay is different, this kit allows for a truly custom fit, giving builders the flexibility to route wires away from heat sources like headers for a professional appearance. Each set includes wires pre-terminated with multi-angle spark plug boots, while the distributor end is left open for cut-to-fit length adjustment. The kit contains both socket-style and spark plug-style boots and terminals, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of distributor caps. A dedicated Mini-Stripper-Crimper tool is included in the box to ensure secure terminal attachment after cutting the wire to your exact length. Installation of this kit requires manual assembly of the distributor-end terminals. The process involves cutting the wires to the desired length and utilizing the included crimping tool to complete the connections. It is a universal application designed for V8 engines and is not a direct-fit factory replacement for any specific vehicle model.
