MSPnP2 Gen 2 Plug & Play ECU

The AMP|EFI MSPNP2 Gen 2 Plug & Play ECU is a fully standalone engine management system designed for direct installation in specific Nissan vehicles. It serves as a capable and budget-friendly alternative to more advanced systems for off-road and motorsports use. Installation is straightforward, with an average time of under an hour, and it comes with a pre-loaded start-up map for the KA24DE engine to facilitate initial startup. The unit features a fully tunable engine control system with 16x16 fuel tables and 12x12 ignition tables for precise adjustments. It supports multiple acceleration enrichment strategies, closed-loop idle speed control, and air conditioner control. For advanced configurations, it can drive up to 4 sequential fuel injector channels, though a specific Nissan Optical Trigger Wheel is required for sequential injection. The system allows for the removal of the stock airflow meter, offering greater tuning flexibility. Advanced features include 12x12 air-fuel ratio target tables with wideband O2 sensor integration, a built-in 2-step rev limiter with launch control and flat shift functionality, and real-time barometric correction. An internal 4-bar MAP sensor supports boost monitoring up to 44 PSI, with overboost protection and closed-loop boost control capabilities (requires compatible EBC solenoid kit). Additional inputs allow for table switching for alternative fuel or nitrous activation, and a flex fuel sensor input for seamless transitions between fuels like E85 and gasoline. Connectivity can be expanded via the CANBus connector for integration with other MegaSquirt-compatible devices. Important compatibility notes: This ECU is designed exclusively for Manual Transmission vehicles and does not support automatic transmission control. It is compatible with 1996-1998 USDM S14 Nissan 240SX models (2.4L Dual Cam [KA24DE]) and 1997-2001 USDM L30 Nissan Altima models (2.4L Dual Cam [KA24DE]), both with manual transmissions only.
