MSPNP2 Gen 2 Plug & Play ECU

The AMP|EFI MSPNP2 Gen 2 Plug & Play ECU is a fully standalone engine management solution designed to enhance your 1993-1995 Toyota SW20 MR2 and ST185 Celica All-Trac (GT-Four) 3S-GTE. This unit provides an easy, plug-and-play installation with an average time of under 1.5 hours, requiring minimal wiring beyond the included air temperature sensor. It comes with a pre-loaded 3S-GTE start-up map to help your engine start quickly and supports real-time tuning and data logging through a laptop connection. This ECU offers extensive tunability, featuring 16x16 fuel tables and 12x12 ignition tables for precise control. It includes advanced features such as multiple acceleration enrichment strategies, closed-loop idle speed control, and air conditioner control. For performance tuning, it supports 4 sequential fuel injector channels with onboard high-impedance injector drivers and allows for the removal of the stock airflow meter. The advanced feature set includes 12x12 Air-Fuel Ratio target tables with wideband O2 sensor integration, a built-in 2-step rev limiter with launch control and flat shift functionality, and real-time barometric correction. The internal 4-bar MAP sensor monitors boost pressure up to 44 PSI, with overboost protection and closed-loop boost control capabilities when paired with a compatible EBC Solenoid Kit. Compatibility is specific to manual transmission models only and does not support automatic transmission control. It is designed for the 1992-1993 ST185 Toyota Celica All-Trac / GT-Four (2.0L DOHC Turbo [3S-GTE]) and the 1993-1995 USDM SW20 Toyota MR2 Turbo (2.0L DOHC Turbo [3S-GTE]). While JDM 3rd generation 3S-GTE engines are compatible, the unit is undocumented for the 1996-2000 Toyota 4A-GE 20v blacktop, though some users have fitted it using the stock harness with limited support. It replaces Toyota ECU part numbers 89661-28280, 89661-28290, 89661-17380, 89661-17390, 89661-17460, and 89661-17470. Installation of the included IAT sensor and weld-in bung is required.
