MSPNP2 Gen 2 Standalone ECU

The AMP EFI MSPNP2 Gen 2 Plug & Play ECU is a standalone engine management solution designed to enhance the performance of 1990-1992 Toyota SW20 MR2 Turbo and ST185 Celica All-Trac (GT-Four) models equipped with the 3S-GTE engine. This system offers an easy installation process, averaging under 1.5 hours, and comes with a pre-loaded start-up map to help your engine start quickly. This ECU is specifically for manual transmission vehicles and does not support automatic transmission control. It provides advanced tuning capabilities with 16x16 fuel tables and 12x12 ignition tables, allowing for detailed optimization of fuel delivery and ignition timing. The system also supports real-time tuning and data logging via a laptop, and integrates with most aftermarket wideband sensors. Key features include sequential fuel injector channels, onboard high impedance injector drivers, and the ability to remove the stock airflow meter for greater tuning flexibility. Advanced functionalities comprise 12x12 Air-Fuel Ratio Target Tables, a built-in 2-step rev limiter with launch control and flat shift capabilities, real-time barometric correction, an internal 4-bar MAP sensor for boost pressure monitoring up to 44 PSI, and overboost protection. Installation requires an IAT sensor, which is included along with a weld-in aluminum bung. The package also contains an M8 serial tuning cable, vacuum hose for MAP signal, a 26-pin connector for the options port, and mounting screws. Please note that while pin-compatible with JDM SW20 MR2 Turbos from 1990-1992, this unit has not been tested on JDM models, and documentation is not provided for these applications. Support for non-standard installations is limited compared to fully plug-and-play setups.
