The MST BW-B5802 Cold Air Intake System is engineered for the 2020 BMW M340i equipped with the B58 3.0L turbo engine. This performance upgrade is designed to deliver a noticeable increase in horsepower and torque, with typical peak gains ranging from 15-20 HP and 15-20 ft-lb of torque, as confirmed by dyno results. The system features a 4-inch intake pipe and a 4-inch dry cone air filter, both designed for easy maintenance and replacement. The black powder-coated inlet pipe and heat shield not only enhance durability but also contribute to a cleaner, more aggressive look in the engine bay. Users can expect improved throttle response and a sportier, more aggressive turbo induction sound. Installation is described as straightforward. The air filter should be cleaned every 20,000 km and replaced at 60,000 km to maintain optimal performance. **Important Fitment Note:** This intake is compatible with the 2020 BMW M340i B58 3.0L Turbo and the M240i G42. However, it is **not compatible** with the 2025 and 2025+ B58 Gen3 models due to redesigns in the pre-turbo intake pipe section. The Supra and M240i models are not affected by this incompatibility. Please verify compatibility with your specific vehicle before purchase.
