The Old Man Emu MT64 Front Strut is engineered for overland adventures and heavy-duty vehicles. It provides exceptional load handling and vehicle-specific damping, tuned to manage the dynamic loads created by campers, toppers, tents, and rack systems. The monotube design features a massive 2.8-inch body, which holds more oil for more accurate shock tuning and dissipates heat efficiently. The aerospace-grade aluminum body offers superior heat dissipation compared to steel and provides enhanced protection against stone damage. The adjustable spring seat has multiple snap-ring grooves, allowing for 0-3 inches of adjustable lift when used with appropriate coil springs. Its digressive valving instantly reacts to changing surface conditions for maximum performance, while the forged body cap and rod ends reduce weight without sacrificing strength. It serves as a direct replacement for stock components and is compatible with aftermarket lift kits.
