The tire's design incorporates aggressive sidewall lugs that provide additional biting edges, especially beneficial in rocky terrain, while also offering enhanced puncture resistance. Constructed with a durable 3-ply polyester sidewall and a high-strength steel belt tread package, the Mud Grappler prioritizes puncture resistance to withstand harsh environments. Nitto also offers dual sidewall designs, allowing users to choose between a 'lizard skin' pattern or plain lugs to match their aesthetic preferences. The tire boasts a 10-ply rating, a tread depth of 21/32nds, and a load capacity of 3640 lbs at 65 PSI, with an approved rim width range of 8.5 to 11.0 inches. The specific tire size is 35x12.50R17LT E. When installing tires with different dimensions from stock, it is recommended to recalibrate your speedometer and odometer. Changes in wheel or tire size can affect the accuracy of your vehicle's gauges and transmission shifting. Customers should be aware that aftermarket wheel and tire installations may alter vehicle handling, visibility, and braking performance from original manufacturer standards, and may require trimming, cutting, or modification to ensure proper fitment and prevent rubbing or limited turning radius.
