Overview

The Fabspeed BMW M235i (F22) Muffler Bypass Exhaust System is designed to enhance the sound and reduce weight for the N55 engine. This system deletes the rear muffler, shedding 14 lbs and producing an aggressive tone with pops and crackles on deceleration.

Constructed from 14-16ga T304L stainless steel with 3"-2.5" piping, it offers a choice of 3" Polished Stainless Steel, Satin Black, or 3.5" Carbon Fiber tips. The exhaust system is a direct bolt-on installation, though it requires cutting the factory exhaust near a breakpoint. Installation is secured with the included Torca clamp, and the factory rear muffler can be reinstalled if needed.

The Fabspeed BMW M235i (F22) Muffler Bypass Exhaust System is engineered to amplify the aggressive tones of the N55 engine while significantly reducing weight. This axle-back system replaces the factory rear muffler, resulting in a 14 lb weight saving and an intoxicating barrage of pops and crackles during deceleration. Despite its aggressive exterior sound, the in-cabin tone is noted as being very reasonable, especially when paired with a Fabspeed Sport Cat Downpipe. Constructed from durable 14-16ga T304L stainless steel, the piping measures 3" tapering to 2.5" to optimize exhaust flow. Buyers can customize the look of their exhaust with a choice of tip finishes: 3" Polished Stainless Steel, 3" Satin Black, or 3.5" Carbon Fiber. All Fabspeed performance products are backed by a Lifetime Warranty. Installation requires cutting the factory exhaust near a designated breakpoint, with all necessary hardware, including a Torca clamp, provided for a quick over-the-factory-piping installation. For those with leased vehicles, the factory rear muffler can be easily reinstalled. This system is designed to fit all BMW F22 M235i vehicles, with specific options available for standard factory rear bumpers and those equipped with the M Performance rear diffuser.
