The Pipercross PP2020 is a high-flow panel performance air filter engineered to be a direct replacement for your vehicle's stock paper air filter. Constructed with a multi-layer foam media, the PP2020 filter captures harmful particles while facilitating a 30-40% increase in airflow compared to standard paper filters. This washable and reusable filter offers a long-term, cost-effective alternative to disposable filters, reducing waste and saving money over time. Pipercross filters are proudly hand-built in Britain to motorsport-grade standards and come with a limited lifetime warranty. Installation is straightforward, taking only minutes: simply open the existing airbox, remove the old paper filter, and install the Pipercross filter. It is recommended to clean and re-oil the filter at your normal service interval using a Pipercross service kit. The Pipercross PP2020 panel filter is a direct-fit upgrade for the following BMW models and engines: BMW M340i / M340i xDrive (G20/G21) – B58, BMW 330i (G20/G21) – B48, BMW M240i (G42) – B58, BMW M440i / 430i (G22/G23/G26) – B58/B48, and BMW Z4 M40i (G29) – B58. It is advisable to always confirm fitment against your vehicle's registration or VIN.
