The BMC FB01090 is a panel air filter, also known as a replacement air filter, designed to fit directly into your vehicle's original airbox, replacing the OEM filter. It is engineered with highly performing materials, including multi-layered cotton gauze soaked in low-viscosity oil and an epoxy-coated alloy mesh, offering protection from petrol fumes and oxidization. This construction allows for increased air flow and more efficient filtration, capable of trapping impurities as small as 7 microns, compared to the OEM's 10 microns. The filter is washable and can be regenerated using the appropriate BMC regeneration kit. It features a "Full Moulding" system for durability, ensuring no welded joints that could lead to breakage, and uses a long-lasting, durable rubber with optimal adhesion characteristics for various airbox shapes.
