Description

The BEP 701S is a mini battery selector switch designed for separating two batteries. It is the most compact selector switch available, offering a simple and economical solution. The switch features tin-plated copper studs and nuts and is ignition-protected.

BEP Marine Battery Switch Test Procedures (UL 1107) include continuous (1 hour), intermittent (5 minutes), and cranking (10 seconds) ratings. These tests determine the maximum current the switch can handle without the rear terminals exceeding 100 deg C (212 deg F) above ambient temperature. Continuous and intermittent ratings are tested at 110% of specified ratings, with all BEP switches independently tested by a third-party laboratory.
