Muscle Mounts

The Dirty Dingo DD-62500S Muscle Mounts are solid race engine mounts engineered for installing 1997-2013 Gen III/IV LS series engines into older GM muscle cars. Precision CNC laser cut from .250 thick 1050 High Carbon cold rolled steel, these mounts feature slotted adjustment for precise engine placement within the engine compartment, allowing for up to 2 1/2 inches of forward and 1/2 inch of rearward movement. Once torqued, they provide a rigid connection that prevents engine movement, even in high horsepower scenarios. Constructed with Grade-8 zinc coated hardware, including a new cross bolt, these mounts bolt directly to your existing frame stand and do not utilize a rubber isolator. The mounts are precision CNC press brake folded with a large radius die to reduce stress on the bend. They are sold in pairs (left and right) with "D" indicating the driver's side and "P" the passenger's side, with arrows pointing forward. It's important to note that these mounts will not fit DART aftermarket blocks. While they can clear low mount A/C, they will not allow the engine to slide back as they mount against the A/C compressor bracket. Similarly, they can clear low mount alternators, but the degree of adjustment may be limited. For 1958-72 rubber-mounted engines, Dirty Dingo offers their Dingo Slider mounts. An aftermarket oil pan may also be required. Available in raw steel (unpainted) or with an optional black texture powder coat for added durability and aesthetics.
