Muscle Mounts

The Dirty Dingo DD-62510L Muscle Mounts are precision-engineered solid engine mounts for integrating 1997-2013 Gen III/IV LS series engines into classic GM muscle cars. Constructed from .250-inch thick 1050 high carbon cold rolled steel, these mounts are CNC laser cut and press brake folded for durability and reduced stress. Featuring a slotted design, these mounts offer significant adjustability for engine placement, allowing up to 2.5 inches of forward movement and 0.5 inches of rearward movement from the original bell housing position. Once torqued, they provide a rigid connection that ensures engine stability even under high horsepower conditions. The hardware included is Grade-8 zinc coated, including a new cross bolt. These are solid engine mounts that bolt directly to your existing frame stand, utilizing no rubber isolators. For 1958-72 vehicles with rubber-mounted engines, Dirty Dingo offers their "Dingo Slider" mounts. An aftermarket oil pan may be required for installation. Available in raw steel, with a black texture powder coat option for an additional charge. Important fitment notes and exclusions apply: these mounts will not fit DART aftermarket blocks. While they can clear low-mount A/C compressors, they will mount against the bracket and prevent engine setback. Similarly, low-mount alternators may be cleared, but the adjustment range could be limited. Sold as a pair (left and right), with "D" indicating the driver's side and "P" the passenger's side, and arrows pointing forward.
