Mustang Front Bilstein Coilover System

The Street or Track Mustang Front Bilstein Coilover System is designed as the most advanced direct bolt-in coilover system for 65-73 Mustangs and other classic Fords. This system offers significant improvements over conventional spring/shock setups, including easy ride height adjustment using the supplied spanner wrench on the threaded shock body. It boasts a 50% better motion ratio, allowing for lighter springs and more shock motion for enhanced control, while also reducing forces on the chassis. The design facilitates super easy spring/shock removal, requiring only one bolt at the top and bottom, eliminating the need for spring compressors. Constructed with precision, the system includes .156 wall TIG welded upper control arms featuring replaceable adjustable length chromoly heim bearing pivots and easily replaceable Moog screw-in ball joints. The lower control arms are also .156 wall TIG welded with replaceable chromoly/Teflon lined mono-ball inner pivots and Moog screw-in ball joints. It comes with adjustable strut rods, Bilstein shock absorbers (available in Street, Sport, or Race valving, and optional Double Adjustable), and matched Hypercoil coil-over springs tailored to your specific vehicle year. The system also includes CNC machined billet lower shock mounting brackets, laser cut and TIG welded upper brackets, and laser cut engine bay cover plates for a clean installation. Hardware and a spanner wrench are included, along with detailed instructions. This coilover system is available for various year ranges of Mustangs and other classic Ford models, with options for shock valving, Shelby Drop UCA cross shafts, shaft-mounted bump stops, camber kits, and precision ball joints. Alignment is required after installation. The Bilstein shocks are completely rebuildable/serviceable, ensuring long-term usability.
