The KDezines 1987-1993 Mustang Hatchback Rear Seat Delete with Battery Box Relocation Kit is a custom kit designed to integrate a Taylor Aluminum battery box into the spare tire well. This kit includes a steel platform that mounts securely in the spare tire well, allowing the battery box to attach firmly. It also features a modification to the spare tire door to accommodate the battery box, which will sit approximately 3 inches high once installed. All necessary hardware for installation is included.

The KDezines 1987-1993 Mustang Hatchback Rear Seat Delete with Battery Box Relocation Kit offers a comprehensive solution for relocating your battery while enhancing your trunk space. This kit builds upon the standard K Dezines rear seat delete by incorporating a specialized setup for a Taylor Aluminum battery box, positioned within the spare tire well. Additionally, a specific cut is made in the spare tire door to ensure a proper fit over the installed battery box, which will be elevated approximately 3 inches from the floor. This kit is compatible with two Taylor Battery Box models: the 48100 (13.500 in. Length x 9.500 in. Width x 10.000 in. Height) and the 48200 (11.313 in. Length x 9.563 in. Width x 8.875 in. Height). Customers must select the appropriate box size that accommodates their specific battery in the options section. The package includes the Rear Seat Delete panel, the selected Battery Box, the Steel Platform for the Battery Box, and shipping. Please note that the battery and any necessary wiring are not included with this kit. As all kits are made to order, please allow 4 to 8 weeks for delivery.
