The Classic Performance Products Mustang II IFS System is an independent front suspension package designed for 1955-59 Chevy Trucks. It provides modern handling, improved ride quality, and dependable braking performance. The kit includes a crossmember, control arms, coil springs, gas shocks, forged hubs, a sway bar, and a choice of rack and pinion steering. Front braking features 11-3/4 inch vented rotors with performance calipers.

The Classic Performance Products Mustang II IFS System is engineered to bring modern handling, enhanced ride quality, and reliable braking to 1955-59 Chevy Trucks. This independent front suspension package utilizes proven Mustang II geometry to transform your vehicle's performance. The core of the kit includes essential components such as a crossmember, upper and lower control arms, coil springs, gas shocks, and forged hubs. You can select between a power or manual rack and pinion steering unit to suit your preference. The braking system features 11-3/4 inch vented rotors paired with performance calipers, ensuring robust stopping power. Installation of this system requires welding of the crossmember and spring hats. The kit is available with options for stock height or dropped spindles and offers multiple bolt patterns, including 5x4.5, 5x4.75, 5x5, 5x5.5, and 6x5.5. Optional upgrades are available, such as adjustable upper control arms, coilovers, air ride systems, and larger brake packages. A minimum wheel size of 15 inches is required. Note that the Tie Rod Ends included in this kit are specified for 1974-78 Ford Mustang II. Additionally, the kit will not work with drum wheels; the disc brakes necessitate a disc brake wheel to fit over the caliper.
