MV-R 44mm External Wastegate

The Tial MV-R 44mm External Wastegate is engineered for precise boost control in turbocharged applications, replacing the popular V44 model with identical mounting dimensions. This external wastegate is constructed with a high-temperature NiCrFe alloy valve and a 347SS valve housing for enhanced durability. The actuator diaphragm is made from high-temperature silicone reinforced with Nomex, and the actuator spring is 17-7 PH Stainless Steel, capable of maintaining consistent pressure up to 900°F (483°C) without 'relaxing'. The wastegate features integrated water cooling ports, which are optional but recommended for heavy-duty use to manage actuator temperatures. It offers three bottom pressure ports and two top ports, providing flexibility for connection to various boost controllers, such as the AMS-1000. The valve seat and bushing are made from Nitronic 60 Stainless Steel, and all hardware is stainless steel, with mating weld flanges constructed from 304L stainless steel. Included with the MV-R are all available springs, allowing users to tune the wastegate to their specific engine requirements without the need for additional purchases. It is important to verify the pre-installed spring settings before installation to ensure proper operation.
