MV-S 38mm External Wastegate

The Tial MV-S 38mm External Wastegate is a high-performance boost control solution engineered for turbocharged applications where precise regulation is critical. This wastegate is a popular choice for high-performance vehicles, offering improved reliability and durability over previous models. Key construction details include a valve made from a high-temperature NiCrFe based alloy and a 347SS valve housing, designed for extended product life. The actuator utilizes a high-temperature silicone Nomex reinforced diaphragm and a 17-7 PH Stainless Steel spring, which provides consistent pressure at high temperatures and resists relaxation up to 900F (483C). The wastegate also features Nitronic 60 Stainless Steel for the valve seat and bushing, stainless steel hardware, and 304L mating weld flanges. This external wastegate includes water cooling ports (though not required for operation) for heavy-duty applications. It is equipped with three bottom pressure ports and two top ports for boost controllers. The MV-S model comes with all necessary springs, allowing users to tune their vehicle's boost levels to their specific needs without additional purchases. The springs are pre-installed, but it is recommended to verify their settings before installation. While often described as a universal fit, custom installation may be required. The 38mm MV-S unit is notably compact, standing approximately 3.7 inches in height, and features V-Band flanges for simplified installation.
