MV-S 38mm External Wastegate

The Tial MV-S Wastegate is a 38mm external unit engineered for precise boost control in turbocharged vehicles. This compact wastegate, standing only 3.7 inches tall, supersedes older 38mm designs and incorporates advanced features such as water cooling ports to enhance the longevity and performance of the component. It is widely adopted by enthusiasts for high-horsepower daily drivers, track cars, and rally vehicles. Construction highlights include a durable NiCrFe based alloy valve and a 347SS valve housing, offering superior resistance to high temperatures and extended product life compared to competing designs. The actuator features a high-temperature silicone Nomex reinforced diaphragm and a 17-7 PH Stainless Steel spring, designed to maintain consistent pressure even at elevated temperatures up to 900°F (483°C). Additional materials like Nitronic 60 Stainless Steel for the valve seat and bushing, along with all stainless steel hardware and 304L mating weld flanges, contribute to its robust build. The MV-S wastegate includes three bottom pressure ports and two top ports designed for boost controllers, such as the AMS-1000. Water cooling ports are also integrated, though they are not mandatory for operation, making it suitable for heavy-duty applications. This model comes with all necessary springs pre-installed, allowing users to tune their boost levels without purchasing additional components, though it is recommended to verify spring settings before installation. This universal wastegate features a V-Band flange type for a secure connection and a distinctive blue finish. Its pressure rating ranges from 0.3 to 1.7 Bar, providing flexibility for various tuning requirements.
