The Racing Beat MX-5 Miata Race Connecting Pipe, designed for the 2006-2015 model years, serves as a direct replacement for the factory mid-pipe, effectively removing the stock secondary catalytic converter and presilencer. This modification is intended to yield a more aggressive exhaust note and a noticeable increase in sound over the original system, with an option for an even louder tone available by omitting the presilencer. Constructed from durable 16-gauge, 2.375-inch OD stainless steel tubing, this connecting pipe features precision mandrel bends for optimal flow and OEM-style connecting flanges for a straightforward bolt-on installation. This race connecting pipe is specifically for vehicles equipped with a manual transmission. While installation will not trigger a check engine light due to the placement of the oxygen sensors, it is important to note that removing the factory catalytic converter means this component is NOT emissions legal for street use.
