Overview

The Link ECU MX5LINK is a G4X Plug-In ECU designed to maximize your car's potential. It fits inside the factory OEM enclosure with no alteration of the factory wiring loom required.

This ECU is designed for the Pre-Facelift MX5 NB models from 1998-2000 with a non-VVT 1.8L engine and a 3-plug ECU. It works only with manual transmissions and includes an onboard 7-bar MAP sensor.

The Link ECU MX5LINK is a G4X Plug-In ECU offering the latest in engine management technology, designed for easy installation and to maximize the potential of your vehicle. This unit fits directly inside the factory OEM enclosure, requiring no alterations to the original wiring loom for compatible models. Specifically engineered for the Pre-Facelift Mazda MX5 NB, model years 1998-2000, equipped with the non-VVT 1.8L engine and a 3-plug ECU connector. It is exclusively compatible with manual transmissions. The ECU features an integrated 7-bar MAP sensor and supports most factory features, with options for I/O expansion available. This Plug-in ECU utilizes a new 4-pin powered CAN connector. It requires the CANJST4 cable (Link PN 101-0198) for connecting CAN devices, as the older CANPCB cable is not compatible. The new 4-pin port and cable provide CAN connectivity along with a protected 12V power supply and ground for CAN devices, protected by a 3A continuous self-resetting fuse.
