The Anderson Ford Motorsports N-91 Camshaft is a hydraulic roller camshaft designed for high-RPM performance. It features a steel core and an aggressive, lopy idle characteristic. The camshaft is recommended for 347-408 cubic inch engines and has a specific RPM range of 2800-6900.

Installation requires aftermarket pistons and 1.6 roller rockers. It is compatible with TFS, 11R, AFR Renegade, or Edelbrock Victor Jr heads. Proper operation necessitates a steel camshaft gear and a performance torque converter for automatic transmissions (3500-4000 RPM stall recommended). Spring requirements include AFM or PAC racing valve springs with a minimum of 150 lb seat pressure. Custom tuning is also required for optimal performance.

The Anderson Ford Motorsports N-91 Camshaft is engineered for enthusiasts seeking significant performance gains in the upper RPM range. Optimized for 347-408 cubic inch engines, the N-91 camshaft boasts a broad RPM range of 2800-6900. It is specifically recommended as a top performer for 347 cu. in. engines with 1.6 roller rockers, a 6900 rpm shift point, and a compression ratio between 10.5 and 11.5. Compatible cylinder heads include TFS, 11R, AFR Renegade, or Edelbrock Victor Jr. This camshaft requires specific supporting modifications for optimal function and reliability. Installation necessitates aftermarket pistons and 1.6 roller rockers. For vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission, a torque converter with a 3500-4000 RPM stall speed is recommended. To ensure proper valve operation at high RPMs, AFM valve springs or PAC racing springs with a minimum of 150 lb seat pressure are mandatory. Additionally, a steel camshaft gear is required, and custom tuning is essential for achieving the camshaft's full potential and ensuring smooth drivability above 2300 RPM. The N-91 is AFM's most popular Hi-Rev camshaft and works exceptionally well with limited travel hydraulic roller lifters. Several example builds are provided showcasing its application in various Mustang configurations from 1988-1994 with different engine displacements and supporting modifications, all achieving impressive results.
