The SiriMoto N1 Clutch Master CMC / Slave Cylinder Upgrade Kit is engineered for the Acura ILX (2013-2015) with the Base 2.4L engine. This performance-oriented upgrade addresses common issues with factory clutch components. The original clutch master cylinders in many Honda and Acura manual transmissions feature a dampening diaphragm that can leak or fail, leading to a loss of hydraulic pressure and leaving the driver stranded. Similarly, the factory slave cylinders often include a delay valve that limits engagement speed, which can hinder performance driving and increase clutch wear by inducing slip. SiriMoto's N1 kit eliminates these factory components. By removing the dampening diaphragm from the master cylinder and the delay valve from the slave cylinder, this kit provides better driver control, enhances engagement feel, and creates a more robust system capable of handling upgraded clutch kits.
