The Evolution Racewerks Racing Downpipe is a cat-less exhaust component designed for specific BMW N20 engines. It eliminates the stock catalytic converter to improve exhaust flow, leading to gains in torque, horsepower, and throttle response. This downpipe is made in the USA from 304-grade stainless steel with mandrel-bent piping and reuses the original V-band flange connection.

The Evolution Racewerks cat-less racing downpipe is engineered to significantly enhance performance in BMW N20-powered vehicles. By removing the restrictive stock catalytic converter, this downpipe allows for unimpeded exhaust flow, resulting in gains of up to 16 whp and 24 wft-lbs, a lower torque peak, and improved throttle response and turbo spool. It is constructed in the USA from premium 304-grade stainless steel with mandrel-bent piping for optimal flow characteristics. Designed as a direct-fit replacement, it reuses the original V-band flange connection and includes a flexible pipe section. Brackets and O2 sensor bungs are also made from stainless steel and TIG welded, with the O2 bung located in the factory position. Special Application Notes: This downpipe is strictly for race/track use only and is not compatible with the N26 SULEV engine. It is strongly recommended to use it with compatible race software, such as Epic Motorsports Race Software, which is advised to eliminate fault codes and check engine lights that may occur with stock software. This product is intended solely for racing vehicles and is not legal for use or registration on public highways, nor for installation on any vehicle subject to emissions inspection or control. BMW Fitments include: 2 Series F22/F23 (14-16) 228i/228i xDrive, 3 Series F30/F31/F34 (12-18) 320i/320i xDrive and (12-16) 328i/328i xDrive, and 4 Series F32/F33/F36 (14-16) 428i/428i xDrive.
