The Precision Raceworks N20 Ignition Kit represents the highest output ignition system developed for the N2X engine community. This kit is engineered for seamless integration with any vehicle featuring the N20/N26 engine, providing a direct upgrade path from factory components. This ignition system boasts 100% plug-and-play wiring, eliminating the need for complex modifications. It utilizes proprietary low-resistance 50ohm/ft plug wires and a high-voltage, high-current coil design incorporating technology from marine and aerospace applications. While ignition coils do not inherently increase horsepower on their own, the factory coils in N20/N26 engines often lack sufficient output. This Precision Raceworks kit has been tested on stock and modified vehicles, consistently showing gains of over 20 whp and 20 wtq. Software tuning is not strictly required for operation, but with available software tuning from major companies, the coil output can be boosted from an estimated XXmJ to an impressive 118mJ, a significant increase over the factory coils' output of only XXmJ. It is compatible with a range of BMW models including the 2 Series (F22/F23), 3 Series (F30/F31/F34), 4 Series (F32/F33/F36), 5 Series (F10), X3 (F25), and X4 (F26) equipped with the N20 or N26 2.0L engines.
