The Precision Raceworks N20 Ignition Kit is engineered as the highest output ignition system for N20/N26 engines. This kit offers a seamless integration into compatible vehicles with its 100% plug-and-play wiring harness, utilizing OEM weatherproof quick-connect connectors for a secure and reliable connection. The high-performance ignition coils are designed with high voltage and high current capabilities, drawing inspiration from advanced marine and aerospace technologies. While ignition coils do not directly increase horsepower unless the original coils are underperforming, the factory coils in N20/N26 engines are noted to have insufficient output. Consequently, vehicles equipped with this kit have shown gains of over 20+ wheel horsepower and 20+ wheel torque, even in stock or heavily modified states. The kit's coil output can reach up to 118mJ with software tuning, a significant increase from the factory coils' XXmJ output. Installation does not require software tuning, although tuning can further optimize coil performance. All components are manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications and feature dust and water-resistant seals for durability. This kit aims to eliminate common misfires and reduce coil replacement frequency, leading to improved throttle response, a smoother idle, and enhanced overall engine power.
