The ECS Tuning N54 Charge Pipe Kit is engineered to replace the stock plastic charge pipe found in many BMW N54 3.0L engines. The factory plastic pipe is known to be flimsy, prone to cracking, and can restrict airflow at higher RPMs, hindering performance and reliability. This aluminum replacement offers increased strength and durability, preventing cracks that can occur from long-term exposure to heating and cooling cycles. Constructed from aluminum with a sleek black powder-coat finish, this charge pipe not only enhances the appearance of your engine bay but also provides superior structural integrity. Its design features increased diameter and airflow for improved performance gains, including better throttle response and reduced turbo lag. The kit includes a CNC-machined throttle body flange and 3-ply reinforced silicone couplers for a secure fit. All OE ports are retained, and all necessary clips and seals are included, simplifying the installation process by eliminating the need to reuse stock components. For advanced users, a 1/8" NPT bung is integrated into the design, accommodating water/meth injection systems for those seeking maximum performance from their BMW. This product is not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle as per the California Air Resources Board.
