N54 OEM Replacement Turbocharger

The Vargas Turbo Technologies N54 OEM replacement turbochargers offer a direct upgrade for N54 engines, available in both rebuilt OEM cores and entirely new units. These turbos are engineered to fit all N54 models, accommodating both Left-Hand Drive (LHD) and Right-Hand Drive (RHD) configurations. The design incorporates several enhancements over stock units. The turbine side features a 100% stainless steel wastegate arm and flapper valve to eliminate common issues like rattling and boost loss, and they come with brand-new factory OEM wastegate actuators. For improved durability, all VTT turbos are equipped with a performance TD04 upgraded thrust system, which includes an upgraded thrust bearing and a 30% increase in surface area on complimenting thrust pieces. An optional VTT Billet compressor wheel upgrade is available, utilizing a forged billet wheel with an efficient 6x6 blade design and extended tip technology. This upgrade provides a 20% airflow increase over standard cast 10T wheels. These turbos are capable of supporting stock to 500 WHP, provided proper supporting fuel upgrades and tuning are implemented. Installation recommendations include the use of an aluminum aftermarket charge pipe and BOV combo, and upgrading the PCV valve is also advised due to potential wear in stock units. For optimal longevity with upgraded turbochargers, Vargas Turbo Technologies recommends using 40W or higher engine oils with high Zinc and Phosphorus content for superior shear strength. Each set of VTT turbochargers comes with a 12-month limited warranty.
