The BMW rear turbocharger is a genuine BMW replacement assembly for the N54 engine. It includes the exhaust manifold and wastegate. Signs of a failing turbo include high oil consumption, blue smoke from the exhaust, increased turbo lag, or failure to hold boost. This unit is designed for the rear bank (bank 2) of cylinders 4-6.
