N54 Relocated Inlet System

The ARM Motorsports N54 Inlets represent an upgraded, relocated inlet system engineered for the N54 engine. Constructed from high-temperature, steel-reinforced silicone, these inlets are designed to replace the restrictive stock N54 inlets that can hinder turbocharger performance. By relocating the intake filters to the passenger side of the engine, closer to the turbochargers, these ARM inlets significantly reduce the distance intake air must travel. This design aims to improve turbo spool, enable faster peak boost, and increase the overall volume from the turbochargers, potentially yielding up to a 60whp/60wtq gain. To manage the increased under-hood temperatures associated with this relocation, the system includes a manifold heat shield to keep heat away from the filters and inlet tubes, as well as an air filter heat shield to isolate cooler air. Installation is facilitated by included relocation brackets for the coolant reservoir and power steering pump reservoir. Additionally, a filter bracket secures the air filters to prevent movement during aggressive driving, and a boost solenoid bracket ensures they remain locked in place. The inlets are available for stock turbos (1.75" inlet) or upgraded turbos (2" inlet). These ARM Motorsports inlets are specifically designed for Left-Hand-Drive BMW models including the E82 1M, E82/E88 135i, and E90/E92/E93 335i, all equipped with the 3.0L Turbo I6 N54 engine.
