N54 Top Mount Single Turbo Kit

The DOC Race N54 Top Mount Single Turbo Kit offers a significant performance upgrade for your street machine, designed for maximum power output. At its core is a redesigned one-piece T4 twin scroll manifold, tested on high-performing race cars and capable of exceeding 1000hp. Boost control is managed by a pair of Turbosmart 40mm wastegates, strategically mounted for easy access without removing hot exhaust components, simplifying spring changes during tuning. The kit includes a 2.5-inch aluminum charge pipe to feed the intercooler and a two-piece 3-inch V-band stainless steel downpipe that connects to your factory or aftermarket exhaust system. The Precision Turbo 6266 variant is rated for 800hp, with other turbo options available ranging from 640hp to 1100hp. Supporting modifications are crucial for optimal performance; factory fuel injectors are recommended up to 550hp, after which an aftermarket port injection system, such as the AD-Engineering kit, is advised. Installation does not require subframe removal, but the motor will need to be lifted approximately 2 inches to install the manifold from the top. Additional recommended purchases include supporting intercoolers, charge pipe/BOV combos, fueling upgrades, clutches, and tuning software (MHD/JB4) from an established tuner.
