N55 304 Stainless Steel Downpipe

Introducing the VRSF N55 Downpipe Upgrade, engineered to be the most impactful modification for your 2012-2018 BMW N55 engine, including models such as the M135i, M235i, M2, 335i, and 435i. By eliminating the restrictive factory catalytic converter, this downpipe significantly reduces back pressure. This results in a faster turbo spool, an increase in horsepower, and a more aggressive exhaust note. The downpipe is meticulously handcrafted from TIG-welded 304-grade stainless steel, featuring smooth radius bends to enhance flow and minimize turbulence. It also includes CNC precision machined flanges, also constructed from 304-grade stainless steel. VRSF offers this downpipe with either a catless design or a 200-cell high-flow catalytic converter. Options for surface finish include a standard Brushed Finish or a Cerakote High Temp Coating, designed to withstand temperatures up to 1800°F and help reduce under-hood temperatures. All VRSF downpipes come with a lifetime warranty. However, please note that the warranty for the ceramic coating and catted versions is limited to one year. Fitment is specific and depends on your vehicle's production date and configuration. Models such as the M135i and 335i produced up to 07/13 require the 3.5" version, while those produced after 07/13 require the 4" version. All M235i and 435i models require the 4" version. It is recommended to confirm your turbo wastegate location to ensure correct fitment.
