The FTP Motorsport N55 Air intake pipe is a new replacement part designed to increase engine flow and reliability. It replaces the factory hose between the air filter and turbo, eliminating the OEM sound chamber. This modification results in increased turbo response and improved mid-range and top-end power.

The FTP Motorsport N55 Air Intake Pipe is engineered to replace the original plastic air intake pipe in your BMW, offering enhanced airflow, reduced turbo lag, and improved engine response. This upgrade features increased flow and an enlarged diameter to boost airflow, providing a direct OEM replacement for a precise fit and easy installation. The pipe is constructed with 3-ply silicone couplers for superior durability and flexibility, and includes a Viton O-Ring that is more robust than the original, preventing leaks. For maximum effect, this FTP intake pipe replaces the factory hose between the air filter and turbo, and will not expand under boost. By eliminating the OEM sound chamber, the system provides increased turbo response as well as mid-range and top-end power. This product is compatible with various BMW models equipped with the N55 engine, including the 1 Series (F20/F21), 2 Series (F22/F23), 3 Series (F30/F31/F34/F35), and 4 Series (F32/F33/F36), as well as the M2 and M235i Racing Coupe.
