N55 GC/GC+ Turbocharger Upgrade

The Vargas Turbo Technologies N55 GC and GC+ turbocharger upgrades are designed to replace restrictive factory housings with 100% new castings. These turbos aim to improve N55 engine power by removing limitations found in the stock unit, such as the small inlet area and bearing housing oil structure, while incorporating proprietary VTT enhancements. The GC model supports up to 600 WHP, and the GC+ model supports up to 700 WHP, both designed to maintain factory-like spool characteristics. Key design elements include all new castings with factory restrictions removed, a redesigned bearing housing with improved oiling, and an upgraded thrust bearing. The turbo features a 9-blade Mar-M 246 turbine wheel and 9-blade "point-milled" compressor wheels, both utilizing advanced aero technology for increased flow and surge reduction. All factory connections for oil, water, downpipe, and charge pipe are maintained for a direct fit. This product is sold outright with no core charges. Installation of the VTT N55 GC/GC+ turbocharger is intended to be a direct drop-in upgrade. However, to achieve its full potential, it should be complemented with supporting modifications such as fuel system upgrades, an intake, downpipe, intercooler, and a proper tune. An N55 install kit is recommended for a straightforward installation. It is important to note that these parts are intended for competition racing vehicles only, as defined under California law, and are not legal for use in other motor vehicles on public highways.
