The MMX Performance intake kit provides an efficient solution for increasing performance and throttle response in BMW vehicles equipped with the N55 3.0L engine. By replacing the restrictive factory airbox, the system ensures unobstructed airflow through its high-flow, mandrel-bent aluminium induction pipework. The kit includes a specialized dual-entry cotton gauze air filter that improves filtration efficiency and intensifies induction noise. The induction pipe is finished in an anodised blue coating and features CNC-machined, rubber-mounted fixing points that account for natural engine movement to reduce unwanted noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). Installation is straightforward and fully reversible, requiring no cutting or permanent vehicle modifications. This intake kit is compatible with specific BMW F-Chassis models, including the 2014-2021 2 Series (M235i, M235i xDrive) and the 2016-2021 M2 (F87) equipped with the N55 3.0L engine.
